A Letter from Annie Melaragno
Hi everyone!
I am Annie Melaragno and I am honored to serve as the President of the Beta Nu chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma. I am so excited to share the community we have built here at 55 E 15th to all of you!
I always attended smaller schools growing up, so I know that transitioning from that small community to a large university can be difficult. As soon as I arrived on campus, I knew I wanted a supportive group to be there for me. After talking with some friends involved in Greek Life, I decided to participate in recruitment.
As soon as I stepped foot into Kappa Kappa Gamma, I knew I was at home. I was touched by the deep connection all the active members displayed towards Mental Health America. During Sisterhood, I could really feel how strong the bond was between all of the women. These things and so much more made me realize that Kappa was exactly what I had been looking for in college. Joining the Beta Nu chapter has brought me so many new opportunities I never would have expected. Being surrounded by women with the same values has helped me truly flourish.
Here at 55, we truly want you to feel like you can be your authentic self. Our goal is to create connections that last a lifetime in the welcoming environment of the Dreamhouse. We support each member in reaching their goals. We always encourage members to use the knowledge we have gained to advocate for mental health, engage with the community, and embrace leadership opportunities. On behalf of everyone here at Kappa, we are so excited to share our home with you!
Loyally,
Annie Melaragno
